越南EHS与可持续发展峰会成功举办
On April 12, 2024, EFC and Benchmark Gensuite co-organized Vietnam Impact EHS&S Conference at the Pullman Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This conference gathered EHS managers, executives, business/audit/engineering technology/digital and other senior executives from well-known companies in the food, manufacturing, FMCG, automobile and other industries. Through speeches, sharing on professional themes and passionate discussion, this conference connected the power of EHS and sustainable development in Vietnam, and jointly discussed how to develop more complete and outstanding development management practices for environment, health, safety and sustainable development.
2024年4月12日，环一联合Benchmark Gensuite在越南胡志明市共同举办了一场EHS与可持续发展峰会，这是环一自2019年之后在胡志明举办的第二次活动。本次峰会聚集了来自食品、制造业、快消、汽车等行业知名企业的EHS管理人员、运营总监、商业/审核/工程技术/数字化等领域高管，通过专业主题的演讲，充满激情的现场互动与讨论环节，与越南当地企业EHS与管理人员共同探讨如何开展更完善且卓越发展的环境、健康、安全和可持续发展管理实践。
In his opening speech, EFC CEO Mr. Gary Tang welcomed all guests and affirmed everyone’s emphasis on EHS&S. He looked forward to EFC’s in-depth cooperation with Vietnamese companies in the future. In the following "Human&Organizational Performance(HOP) Introduction" sharing, Gary brought a redefinition of safety, driven by reliable and resilient safety performance goals, and improved through the five principles of HOP staff performance. The guests recognized that the accidents should not only be blamed on the employees themselves, but they should understand how employees work, analyze mistakes and traps in the workplace, and play the role of HOP in accident investigation and prevention.
在开幕致辞中，环一CEO唐秉杰（Gary Tang）先生欢迎所有现场嘉宾的参与并肯定了大家对EHS&S的重视，期待环一未来与越南企业的深度合作。在接下来的「深度探讨HOP-人与组织安全绩效」主题分享中，唐秉杰先生带来关于安全的重新定义，以可靠和具有韧性的安全绩效目标为驱动力，通过HOP五个原则来提升员工绩效。现场嘉宾认可造成事故的发生不应只追究员工自身的问题，而是应理解员工如何工作，分析工作场所的错误陷阱，发挥HOP在事故调查及预防中的作用。
Ms. Vicky Guo, EFC Sr. Ergonomics Consultant, shared the theme of "Ergonomic Risk Management and Solutions" and talked about the definition, origin, important development milestones of Ergo and its great significance in modern society. Vietnam's Ergo market is affected by several factors. Promoting Ergo concepts and practices will better protect employee health. EFC already has the strong ability to provide customized Ergo risk management overall solutions through many years of service experience. Through training, online/offline assessment, risk control plan design, etc., it can ensure the correct behavior of employees in the work environment.
环一卓越运营经理与人因工效学顾问郭奇（Vicky Guo）女士在「如何有效管理及应对人因工效学风险管理和解决方案」主题分享中，讲述了Ergo的定义、起源、重要发展里程碑和如何通过定性定量的风险风险方法和结合Benchmark的AI工具来完成初步的岗位人因风险筛选。环一ErgotechTM在多年服务经验中已具备提供定制化Ergo风险管理整体解决方案的能力，通过培训、线上/线下评估、风险控制方案设计与解决方案等服务，系统的保障员工在确保工作效率的同上，减少肌肉骨骼疾患的发生。
During the group discussion session, the corporate guests enthusiastically discussed the important issues of EHS&S and digital transformation in Vietnam, the challenges and solutions faced by Vietnam today, how to improve safety culture, and how to help enterprises achieve sustainable development goals through digital technology. Everyone agreed that scientific and technological progress will inevitably lead to new changes in EHS&S field, and active learning and application in operation management will be a common topic for everyone.
在小组讨论环节，现场企业嘉宾们热烈讨论了越南EHS&S和数字化转型的重要问题，探讨如今越南面临的挑战和应对方案，如何提升安全文化，以及如何通过数字化技术帮助企业达成可持续发展的目标。大家一致认同科技进步将不可避免促使EHS&S领域产生新的变化，主动学习并应用在运营管理中将会是大家共同的课题。
Later, Mr. Benedict Chow, EFC APAC Executive Director, shared the excellent content of "Mapping a Sustainable Future: Harnessing Geoinformatics for EHS Management". Ben takes an in-depth look at how to leverage geoinformatics for effective EHS management. Combined with geographic information, companies will monitor and analyze EHS risks in a more precise and agile manner, and effectively improve their ability to respond to EHS challenges. Ben also shared wonderful practical cases where the use of geoinformatics for construction noise management can minimize the impact of construction activities on surrounding communities and wildlife habitats.
随后，环一ASEAN地区主管顾问Benedict Chow分享了「规划可持续的未来：利用地理信息学开展环境尽职管理」的精彩内容。Ben深入研究了如何结合GPS，GIS和传感器捕捉能力进行有效的环境状况分析。结合地理信息学，企业将以更精确和敏捷的方式进行环境风险的监测和分析，提升应对环境因素挑战的能力。Ben还分享了精彩的实践案例，利用地理信息学进行施工噪声管理与生物多样性影响评估，最大限度减少施工活动对周围社区和野生动物栖息地的影响。
Finally, Mr. Sam Kang, EFC ESG and Compliance Assurance Director, shared the "One Stop EHS Compliance Assurance Solutions" and summarized the development trends of EHS&S development in Vietnam and the prospects for 2023 key points and countermeasures of Vietnam EHS&S compliance policies. Through digital technical support, a series of coaching services and customized training, we can achieve the goals of efficient corporate EHS management and sustainable compliance. Sam demonstrated the iTrack™ compliance management platform to the guests, which can meet the diverse needs of enterprises including languages, themes, channels, etc., and help enterprises achieve low-cost and efficient EHS&S compliance management.

In this conference, Benchmark Gensuite also shared the content of "EHS&S Challenges and Best Management Practices", "Accelerating Digital Transformation in the Field of Environment, Health and Safety", and "Artificial Intelligence Assists EHS&S Operation Management". Attendees showed strong interests in the platform functional modules and application cases.

2024 Vietnam Impact EHS&S Conference focused on new technologies and applications in EHS&S field. The speakers' wonderful sharings received recognition and empowered the management performance of EHS&S managers.
